My #WashBucketChallenge !!! I loved #SharingTheLoad

From childhood itself I used to help my mother in many household works.
Whenever the maid was on leave I used to help her in washing clothes and utensils.

But as I grew up I became busy in my studies, playing sports and hanging out with friends, because of which I couldn’t help my mother in her work.
Though there are lots of technological advancements in past few years where latest devices like fully automated washing machines, dish washers, vacuum cleaners have made life a bit easy but still the load exists. Also my mom has grown older so it is time to share and sometimes even bear it completely.

In today’s world woman’s place is not only in kitchen or in the home for doing household works.
She also has dreams, passion to see herself successful and reach new heights.

She is someone who works shoulder to shoulder with a man in all aspects of life so why should she bear the load of household work alone. I have taken a pledge to share the load with the women of my house, first with my mom and in future with my wife.

I was thinking about ways on how to give it an improvisation, when I came across the #WashBucketChallenge activity on Blogadda in association with Ariel India.
I was damn happy and thought of taking the #WashBucketChallenge right away.

But to my amazement, seeing me, my father too insisted in taking the challenge as he too felt the need to #ShareTheLoad.

I was double happy to see my dad also interested in taking up the challenge. Quickly I applied for the challenge , all thanks to Blogadda, and both of us waited excitedly for the Ariel Matic.

Finally the day came when the courier guy delivered the much awaited Ariel Matic.
It was weekend and me and my dad was ready to take the challenge.
We have fully automatic washing machine Bloomwash from Whirlpool.

I asked mom to give all her dirty sarees that needs to be washed.
It was the first time when only mom’s clothes were put in the machine.

Ariel Matic did the magic and all the clothes were perfectly clean.

I and Dad were super happy after completing the challenge but more than us it was mom who was super duper happy to see us #ShareTheLoad so enthusiastically.
