The stage was all set, doldrums were heard all around, people were excited and were awaiting the big announcement to happen.
Yes the event was pretty grand after all it was the first-anniversary celebration of CASHe, India’s fastest growing app-only lending company and it was my pleasure to be part of the celebration.

When the occasion is for the next generation, the venue can’t be less than something awe-inspiring and happening so Hard Rock Café, Worli was where the celebrations happened.

About CASHe
CASHe, India’s fastest growing app-only lending company, provides immediate short-term personal loans to young professionals based on their social profile, merit and earning potential using its proprietary algorithm based machine learning platform.

It is the brainchild of Aeries Financial Technologies Pvt. LTD who launched this innovative technology driven lending platform in April 2016.

The target audience includes young working professionals in the age group of 23-35 years. The loan limit ranges from INR 5000 to 1,00,000 payable over 15, 30 and 90 days.

About the event

The event commenced with the presentation as Mr. V. Raman Kumar, Chairman, Aeries Financial Technologies Pvt. Ltd took center stage. It was a beautiful and inspiring presentation which portrayed the journey of CASHe from a startup to one of the distinguished players in the app lending industry.

On this occasion Mr. Raman made a series of special announcements which were as below -:
1. CASHe raises 25 crores in a series A funding from an investor group led by

    Mr. Mathew Cyriac and advised by Florintree Advisors. 
2. Mr. Cyriac joins the Board of Directors of CASHe as an Investor Director.
3. Mr. Pulak Ghosh, renowned data scientist and professor of Quantitative Analysis
     at IIM(B) appointed as an independent director.

He also thanked the new investors for showing interest in CASHe, applauded each and every employee for the commitment shown in the last one year and welcomed Dr. Pulak Ghosh and Mr. Mathew Cyriac to the Board of Directors.

The presentation concluded with Q&A session where the big guns of CASHe, the board of directors were on the stage to answer the queries.

After the session ended we bloggers thought to have a quick conversation with one of the esteemed customers of CASHe to know his/her experience with the company.
Mr. John joined us for the talk.
A series of questions were shot at him which he answered with quite positivity -:

Q. How was your experience with CASHe?
A. It was hassle free. Using the app is quite easy. You just have to upload 3 docs and
     bingo.

Q. How was the experience with Customer Care?
A. He chuckled and said I didn’t had to call Customer Care once also as everything is
     mentioned in the app itself.

Q. What’s the best thing about CASHe?
A. Well everything about CASHe is awesome so I don’t know which one to choose
      as the best one.

It was quite clear from the conversation how in just one year CASHe was successful in transiting from a startup to a renowned company.

Next we had a round of discussion with the Consulting Head of CASHe to know more about the future plans and the roadmap of the company.
He answered each of our questions with precision giving it a humorous touch.

The bar was open now and also the lunch was served.
Hard Rock Café never fails to impress me whether it is the ambiance, drinks or the food. After treating my taste buds to the sumptuous meal which nearly gave me a foodgasm it was time to head back home.

My Verdict
Being a young working professional myself I was really impressed by the concept of CASHe.

Recently Gatimaan Express, the fastest train of India started plying from New Delhi to Agra, covering a whopping distance of 188 km in just 100 minutes. Another feather added to the cap of the Indian Railways. No doubt we are witnessing lot of advancements in the Indian Railways which in-turn is attracting more people to travel by trains. In today’s date nearly 20 million people board a train everyday.
But the biggest problem is there is a dearth of information regarding train travel in India, causing passengers to make uninformed decisions that hamper their experiences.

      in cities like Mumbai where people are always in hurry.

3. Time Table
     You can easily view and download the time table for any train you want by just entering the name
     or no of the train.

4. Train Running Status
     With this feature you can get real time status of the train you are in. The app obtains this info by
     using your smartphone’s GPS. If you are not on the train it will display the last status update of the
     train by fetching it from the Railway servers.
     To get the running status you only need to feed the train name or no and you will get the status for
      last 3 days starting today.

5. PNR Status
     The most frequently used feature in a Train app is PNR status.
      In RailYatri there is an additional functionality added to this feature which gives you the list of
      the recent PNR searches made.

6. Trains between Stations
     Another frequently used feature on a Train App is to check the trains between different stations.
     In RailYatri you also have the additional functionality to download the search result.

7. Seat Availability
     Another highly used feature by the Indian train passengers is the Seat Availability.
     Just feed in the train no/name or the From and To station details and the current seat availability
     will be displayed by RailYatri. You can also download the result.

8. Fare Calculator
     Indians plan their vacation not according to the destination but according to the total cost they will
     incur in travelling to that place. Fare Calculator feature gives you the fare for different trains 

     which in-turn help you to plan your travel aptly.

9. Speedometer
     One of the unique features offered by RailYatri is the Speedometer. Just enter your train name or   

     no and it will display the running speed of the train and will also compare it with the scheduled 

     speed.

10. RailWisdom

      when required. Just enter the train or station details and you will get the medical contact.

My Experience
       This app has everything a train passenger would need right from the time of planning the travel

       to alighting from the train. The navigation is quite easy and UI is friendly with logically cross
        linked paths. The only feature it lags is the one dedicated to curate the latest buzz in the
        Indian Railways. Overall a must have App for every Indian who travels by train.

Next I clicked on the Search which is present on the top rightmost corner.

Incredible..!! A plethora of options appeared in front of me, each having ocean full of information.
It has everything a common man uses, needs and can think of in his daily life.

Conclusion
ZiPi is a plethora of information.

Let’s meet the CEO
Mohit Mittal the Co-founder and CEO, Voodoo is an IIT Madras alumni.
He was a master of innovation from his college time itself. In 2010 he received HSBC international award for innovation for the project TechMet, where he made a helmet capable of sending SOS alerts to the nearest hospital in case of a road accident. Also his patent includes a novel “e-headgear” to prevent and warn against drunken driving in two wheelers.
