35 things to do before I die

Life is short and on top of that it is too monotonous and jam packed.
Sometimes our schedule is so busy that we can't even find time for our family.

In this busy and fast running life there are some things we want to do , some dreams we want to see turn into reality , some places we want to visit before we die.

So like everyone I too have a bucket list which consist of crazy, beautiful, adventurous and out of the world things that I want to do before I wish my final goodbye.

Here goes the list

1. Dolphins are one of most amiable and lively animals in the world.
    I wish to swim with this rockstars one day.

2. Venice is the only city in the world where there are no cars or buses but only boats as the 

     means of transport as it is a city built in water. I wish to visit this city one day.

3. I have always been fascinated by the big hot air balloons.

    Before I die I wish to travel with my partner in them and feel that excitement of flying through the

    clouds. 

                                     

4. As am I hopeless romantic, kissing my partner at the top of Eiffel tower is at the top of my bucket 

    list.

 

5. Visiting the most famous waterfall in the world, Niagara falls, has always been on my bucket list.

     It is one of top natural wonders of the world and hence a must place to visit before I die.

6. There is nothing more spectacular and thrilling light show to watch on earth then Northern lights.

    In Northern Norway nature's shows the best in it's kitty. A must watch before my soul RIP.

    

7. As a blogger and writer I always love reading books and novels, fiction or nonfiction, belonging to

    different genres. A small dream is to create a small library of my own in my house.

                             


8. I am always crazy about doing something new and zorbing definitely fits in my crazy things
    to do list. You can roll down a hill or push yourself in water.

9.  This hidden beach paradise which is underneath a hole is one of the most amazing natural wonders in the world. Though visiting this places is a bit difficult but definitely it is on my to do list before God calls me.

10. From childhood itself Pyramids and the stories around them has fascinated me the most.

      This wonder of the world which is also among the most mysterious places is a must visit before

      you die.

    

11. Though this is not a big thing but still how it feels while travelling in first class has always made 

       me curious and hence it is has a spot in my to do list.

12.  Nothing else has fascinated a child more on this earth than Santa claus and the flying reindeers  

       who pull his sleigh. Dog Sledding though not exactly but somewhere do depict that picture.

       I would happily love to sing "Jingle bell Jingle bell" while riding it. 

       

13. Dolphins make me crazy but watching whales dive in and out of water is something out of
      this world. A must do thing before I wish goodbye.

                           

14. Marrying the girl who has made me a man through her magic of love was, is and will be at the 

      top of the to do list of my life until I get hitched to her.

15.  This is something for which I wanted my childhood to pass quickly as 18 years is the min limit.

        Nothing in the world is as adventurous as skydiving, believe me.

                                

16. Though this appears to be easy but once you are underwater your senses go out of control, 

       kissing at that moment would definitely be unique and a lifelong memory.

       

                                

17.   Marine life is the most mysterious thing in this world and has its own charm.

        If I get an opportunity to live anywhere in the world for a day, I would definitely want to stay

        at an underwater hotel, may be in Dubai.

                                 

18. I love to capture wildlife thr my DSLR and what else can be the ultimate destination for it then

      Africa. Watching the king of the forest prey is something I would love to shoot. Among the top

      10 things to do before my name has a late prefix added.

19. My love for marine life is immense and I would not miss a single opportunity of watching
      them closely. I have seen Scuba diving a number of times on Discovery Channel and someday
      I want to do that myself.

                         

20. Paris, the city of love is a dream honeymoon destination for any romantic couple.
      A kiss at Eiffel tower and adding a lock to the love lock bridge is a fantasy of every couple.

21. I love adventure and camping in jungle was my teenage dream but what is bygone is bygone.
      After marriage I would definitely love to spend a night with my partner in a tree house.

22. This is one thing which probably everyone in this world would want to experience, Zero Gravity.

      Though only few lucky ones are born to be an astronaut, travel in space and explore the 

       mysterious universe but getting a feel of it on earth is definitely my dream.

23. Though messages in bottle are send by those who are shipwrecked, caught by pirates or lost in

       the sea and have no other means of communication to contact the rescue team, but for me it will

       be a sign of my existence, my love for her,  floating in the sea even when I am dead 

24. Chocolate, which was once considered "Food of Gods" is now one of the favorite foods of human       beings. As a child I was tempted to try different flavors of chocolate in whatever forms available.

      One of my childhood dreams was to visit a chocolate factory and even own one someday.

      Before I die I want to visit some of the most famous chocolate factories in the world.

                               


25. Every blogger or aspiring author has a dream to see his book published.
      Before I die I want to pen down my love story, a way to keep it alive for years even after I am
      dead.

                                  


26. You might have heard the famous saying, "What happens in Vegas, remains in Vegas", but there
      is another new one added from my side which is, "If you have not partied in Vegas you have not
      partied like a king or queen. Once in a life I want to visit this place and party like this is the last
      night of my life.

                               

27. We have read a lot about Igloo in our childhood, especially while reading about Antarctica.
       One of my dreams is to stay in it for a night and experience the pleasure of living in one of
       the coldest places in the world.

28. Ships, sea and marine life has fascinated me from childhood and the best way to experience it
      is to travel on a Cruise. Today we have lot of  five star cruises offering all the facilities you could
      dream of right in the middle of the sea.
      A cruise journey to any of my favorite destination is on the bucket list before I die.


                           


29.  Visiting Leh Ladakh on Royal Enfield's bullet is a dream journey for an traveler, nature or
       adventure lover. Before I die I want to visit this place to experience the beauty beyond
       imagination.

                            


30.  The festival of lights is celebrated all around the Thailand during which floating lanterns are
        released in air. The scene is breathtaking and I would definitely want to be a part of it.
       Also this is a sign of everlasting love which should always reach new heights.

31. Sharks are counted as one of the most deadliest animals in the world but they carry an 
      everlasting charm which drives thousands of tourists every year to set a rendezvous with them.
      If not with my partner I would definitely want to try this alone.

32. The only water source where you will never get drown, so why not experience it by oneself.

33. River rafting is another once in a lifetime experience which every adventure lover would love to
      have. Those moments of pure thrill and deep connection with nature is something I would
      definitely want to experience before I die.

                               



34. Taj mahal, the symbol of love and one of the seven wonders of the world is a dream destination
      to visit for any die hard romantic person. Before I die I will propose my girl again at this
      place.


                               


35. Lamborghini is a dream car to own but I don't have an unrealistic dream of owning it one day,
      but definitely have a feel of driving it for once.

The moment that changed my life.!!!

I was born in a middle class family. My father was a doctor and mother was a housewife.
From childhood only people used to call be junior doctor.

I was very happy to hear such comments and used to imagine myself as a doctor.

As I grew older I got more interested in mathematics.
My uncle was a broker and I used to spend a lot of time sitting at his office.
Numbers and graphs used to attract me. Analyzing the graphs of different scripts of share market was my favorite pastime.

One day while I was sitting at the terminal, uncle and his friends were predicting the result of Infosys.
For past 3 quarters Infosys quarterly numbers were below expectation and the stock plunged 7-8%.

This time I had an intuition that Infosys will outperform and the stock will rally more than 5%.
Uncle started laughing at my prediction and told to focus on studies as share market was not my cup of coffee.

I requested uncle to believe in my prediction once and buy 100 shares of Infosys for me.
As I was like a son to him so he fulfilled my wish.

It was time for announcement of result and everyone was glued to the computer screen.
7% increase in profit and 14% increase in revenue were the numbers displaying on the screen.
Everyone was shocked to see the result except me.
I was jumping with joy as my prediction got true and the stock price was up by 6% within 10 minutes

of the announcement of result.

When my father came to know about this he told me to focus on studies and not get involved into share market as it was just another form of gambling. He also stopped my visit to uncle’s office.

My 10^th board exams were in two months so he asked me to focus on science as I had to take biology in 11^th class. I was not interested in biology but had to opt for it as it was my father’s dream to see me as a doctor.

I was a sportsman who used to love playing all kind of sports.
I used to devote two hours daily to some or other game in order to refresh myself after attending boring lectures of biology.

12^th board exams turned out to be a nightmare for me as I failed in biology.
In the next attempt also I could only pass with grace marks.

My parents were really tensed as no decent medical college was willing to give admission to me.

At that time my uncle came to our house and had a talk with my father.

He requested him to let me do what I was interested in which was trading in share market.
He asked my father to give 6 months of time after which he could ask me to do whatever he wants.

I gave some certifications and started working at my uncle's brokerage firm.

In 3 months my skills started showing results and I became the talk of the firm.

After 6 months I was making more profit than many experienced people at the firm.

My uncle called my father to his office and showed my portfolio to him.

My father was delighted with joy when everyone at the firm was chanting my name.
They were congratulating him for having a son like me.

My father had tears in his eyes and he hugged me tightly.
He told me to continue my career in share market and become a successful broker.
It was that moment in my life which filled me with optimism and hope for the future.

Today I am running my own brokerage firm and my father is very proud of it.

When she fought to replace the "ORs" with "ANDs" in her life..

Every human being has the freedom to follow his/her dreams and choose to do what he/she is passionate about. Religion, caste, color, tradition, gender and superstition should never serve as an obstacle in anyone’s life.

Future of a person should depend on his/her capability and not on the above factors.

In this post I want to highlight the case of one of my friend, Ruchi who fought for her dreams and finally achieved them with flying colors.

 Ruchi was the youngest of all her siblings who included 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Her father owned a grocery shop and mother was a housewife.

Her parents were quite simple but the family at her mom’s side was quite aggressive and dominating.

Her Mamas were into politics and believed in violence than peaceful negotiation.

Also they were quite narrow minded and used to treat women of their house badly.

For them woman only had 6 labels throughout her life.

Ruchi was born and brought up in Mumbai and hence she was an independent and ambitious girl who loved freedom. During summer vacations she along with her mom and other siblings used to visit her Mama’s place which was in Uttar Pradesh. When she was in school things were fine as she was small and used to listen to her Mama but things changed when she entered junior college.

All her friends were now serious about their career and also motivated her to choose one.

Most of them suggested her to join the aviation or hospitability industry as she was damn good looking, had charming personality and great articulation skills.

After pondering on their suggestions and also discussing with her favorite teachers she finally decided to give it a try.

She told her parents about her decision and asked for their consent.

In starting her parents were a bit worried as she would be away from home most of the times travelling to places which won’t be safe for her but finally were convinced.

One week before the interview of Indigo, her mamas suddenly came to Mumbai.

She was sure that her mom had casually informed them about the interview but didn’t think about the consequences.

As they entered the house one of them slapped Ruchi and asked her mother to send her with them.

According to them she had forgotten all her customs, traditions and sanskars , gone out of hand, hence it was necessary to bring her back to line.
From now on she will only learn household work were their clear instructions.

Her mother was too frightened to protest but Ruchi was ready for such situations.

She called her friend at once whose father was a police inspector and complained about the physical and mental harassment her mamas had caused her.

For a second her mamas were shocked to hear her words.

Though they were into politics in Uttar Pradesh but in Mumbai they were just a common man.

Police came in no time and were going to arrest them. Frightened they asked for forgiveness and promised never to interfere in her family matters.

Ruchi gave them one last warning and requested police to give them a last chance.

Finally her big day came.
She gave interview of 3 Airlines and got selected in all of them.

Today she is a senior cabin crew member who is enjoying her life to the fullest.

Not only her parents but also her friends like me are so proud of her.

She is an inspiration to all those who wants to free themselves from different labels given by the society or family members and live their dreams.

1. Lamborghini Aventador
    When this sexy lady is on the floor none dares to come in its way.
    Classy, brutally powerful and speed demon are just few of its amazing characteristic.
    A crazy sports car lover like me will always dream to own one of these black beauties.

2. Black Horse
    I love horses. This energetic mammal is a delight to watch when it starts galloping, flying off his feet in the      daring wind. From childhood I am fan of movies based on war mainly those where we have warriors riding    on horses on the battlefield carrying swords, bow/arrows and spears. Best thing about these movies are        those beautiful black horses running like wildfire, thousands at a tandem, rocketing in the air, swinging their    head briskly.  Riding and owning one of these powerful, breathtaking black beauty has been a dream from    childhood.

3. Harley Davidson Street Glide
    Ever heard that a bike can stir your soul, well definitely if it is a Harley Davidson.
    Every biker has a dream to ride this daddy of all motorcycles and so has I.
    This powerful beast is recognized as the ICON of the biking world and is very well known by all,
    around the globe. Whenever a Harley bike roll down the road, it’s nearly impossible to take your eyes off.     Thrill, Adventure, Self-Reliance, Speed, Single Mindedness, The Cool-Factor and Feeling of brotherhood     and an experience of lifetime are just few reasons for which I would love to own a classy black Harley           Davidson Street Glide.

4. Rolex with Black Diamonds
    Diamonds are not only women’s friend but also liked by men.
    These glittering pieces have a charisma that can turn more heads than a sexy lady.
    Though every diamond has a charm of its own but the ones having the most vivid fire and sparkle are             Black Diamonds.
    First time I saw one of them at an exhibition and I was mesmerized by its impeccable glow.
    From that day I have fantasized about owning one for myself and also one for my mother.
    A dream goes bigger when two of your fantasies come together.
    Rolex , the most stylish, classy and king of luxury watch brands which is also my favorite goes on to create     a masterpiece by including beautiful black diamonds making it so so desirable and a dream to own one.



                                               

5. Black suit
    I am a big fan of James Bond series, specially Skyfall which is one of my favorite.
    Apart from the the excellent action sequences, humor and a gripping story-line I also loved the movie
    for its stylish suits worn by Daniel Craing, who looked stunningly handsome.
    "How I meet your mother" is one of my most favorite series on small screen and the credit for that goes
     mostly to Barney Stinson, the suited man who brandishes a droll undercover of humor.
     Inspired by these men I have a desire to wear a black suit at my wedding.
