An experience of lifetime..

It was those days when I was in school.
My 8th board exams had finished and the best time of year was awaiting me, the summer holidays.
This time I was very excited as I heard my parents discussing about some foreign tour.
But to my disappointment they decided to visit our relatives in Pipliya, birthplace of my Mamaji.

Pipliya is a small village located in the state of Madhya Pradesh with a mere population of 30,000.
We were going to visit our Mamaji's brother Shyamlal Jain who lived with his wife there for past 50 years. They lived in a house which was more like a Kothi built about 60 years ago by Mamaji's father Mr Dindayal Jain .They also had a farm which was some 8,000 square feet and was the source of earning their lively hood.

I was just 14 at that time, at the start of my adolescence. I was crazy for parties, hanging out with my friends at mall, cafes & playing video games for long hours.
A day without video game or eating out was like a day not lived.
I was so much into the materialistic things that I hardly got time to feel the beauty of the nature around and I didn't even care about it.
Surviving in a village was a challenge for me. I was pissed off by the thought of unhygienic toilets, cow dung everywhere, the ambiance that I had to bear to a week.

It was decided that we will leave for Pipliya on 2nd of April, a day after completion of my exams.
All were busy with their packing, especially me, as I wanted to take all the gadgets, gizmos and other stuff I had for making my survival possible, I was behaving in a manner as if I was going to be a contestant of Survivor India.

We started at 10 in the morning and reached there by 6 in the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed driving the Car at a speed of 110-130 on the high way as it seemed to be the last exciting thing left on the world to me.
When we entered the village everything looked messy and obsolete to me. The lanes were narrow, houses looked like they were built in 18th century and people had no sense of fashion and hygiene..

Finally after 1 hour of crazy horn blowing, frustration and agitation we finally reached the so called Kothi of Mr Jain.

He and his wife were waiting for us anxiously. As we got down they welcomed us whole heartily.
It had been years after I meet them so couldn't recall their face.

There house was very big and looked more like a historical monument which hasn't been white washed from ages. There were no marble flooring and furniture appeared to be of Akbar's time.
They showed us our rooms and told us to get fresh as dinner was ready.

Our room had nothing to be happy about as it was as old fashioned as the house.
I was reluctant to take dinner so early as it was only 6:30 pm.
Everything which was there around pissed me off and I told dad to run away from here as soon as possible, may be by tomorrow itself.

Unfortunately Mr Jain also came at the same time inviting us for dinner.
He had listened to what all I said, but very calmly he came near me and politely said, “I know you are a kid of city and are not habitual of living in such ambiance , but believe me you will have the time of your life if you follow my words.

I was so embarrassed that I didn't know what to say and agreed to whatever he said.
After having dinner, as everyone was very tired, especially me, we decided to sleep.

As we were going to our rooms he told me to that we had to go somewhere at 5 in the morning as he had some surprises planned for me and told not to worry as he will wake me up in time.
OMG 5 in the morning, I don't remember if I did wake up any time before 8 in my life.
Anyways I went to bed at 10 and waited for the next morning to know about the surprises.

"Ankit wake up beta, Mamaji is calling you", said Mom.
Why these people get up so early, i felt very irritated as I was about to hug Irina Shayk at the Crane Beach of Barbados...:P

I asked him where were we going and now he should reveal the surprise, but he told me to follow him and wait for the right time.
We have to get to the top of that hill which appears at the other side of the ground, affirmed he.

I was gasping for air as the path to the top was not easy and it took all my stamina to even stand still.
Come on my boy we have almost made it, exclaimed he. I could see a 60 year old standing at the top and motivating a 14 year young champ to take those remaining steps.
That day it was very much clear , why my Nani used to say that people in villages have tremendous stamina and that it was all because they loved nature and were very close to it in all aspects.

When I reached top I was completely tired and out of my senses, but suddenly a gust of cool breeze touched my face, blowing my hair. What I saw next was phenomenal, tiny extravagant shades of orange and pink appeared in the sky. Shortly after a fiery ball enhancement started to make it’s way beyond the mountain ranges at a distance. Sky was filled with colours of unexplainable magnificence that had no known name. I felt like I am on top of the world with nature charming me with all its elements.

Mamaji asked me how was I feeling like, but my ego came in middle and I deceived him by saying that it was okay. Next we started with Yoga. He told me about different asanas and exercises which kept him fit and healthy and I followed him.

It was 8 and we were finished with the first task of the day. Next we headed towards home as it was time for breakfast. But for me it was time for defecation as I could feel the pressure intensify.
Most of the times we used to curse God for the indigestion problem and take lot of medicines just to have a smooth process of defecation. But today I was actually cursing myself for being so dependent on medicines and keeping away from the benefits of being natural.

But there was a problem, where to defecate..??, as I could see no Sulabh Shauchalaya there. I asked Chote Nana for help. He told me there is a small lake which flows near to their farm and I can easily become HALKA there..:P
Was he telling me to defecate in open in front of all, in open??... I was feeling so embarrassed but had no other option.
When we reached the Lake I quickly found a big rock behind where I could hide myself, well there are many other things you can do behind a big rock, but this time I was alone and in lot of hurry..:P

The place I choose had the water stream just flowing at a hand's distance. Man I had the best defecate of my life .Lolzz I am describing this also but can't help..:P
After I was done we headed towards our home as breakfast was waiting for us.

After we were done with filling the hungry stomach, I was feeling desperately to take a shower as my complete body was stinging and sweating.
But there was another plan which Mamaji had in queue.
We will go to a nearby river side which is just 10km away from here and don’t worry this time we will go on my bike, he chuckled.
We were accompanied my father also.

When we reached the spot there was no crowd there. Mamaji told us that this place was rarely known to the people. In no time he climbed up a rock which was 20 feet high and made a dive in the water.

Wow, that’s super cool I thought and tried myself too. I was feeling a bit nervous as 20 feet was not a small height, but then I made my move and went straight into the water. I could see small fishes passing by my ear; it was a breath taking moment for me, so natural and wonderful.

After doing different somersaults and relaxing in the free flowing water for some 2 hours we headed towards home for lunch.

Post lunch we went to his farm.
He told me that they grew different vegetables like ladyfinger, Cucumbers, green onions and also pulses and cereals.
It was evening time before sunset and the crops appeared dancing with the cool breeze.
The panorama was beautiful and so natural.
Near to the farm he also had a small shed for all the cattle.
I had never become friends with animals as I did this time. Feeding them, pampering the newly born and the most amazing experience was seeing mamaji draw milk from the cow’s udder.
Time passed so quickly that we even didn't knew it was already dinner time.

After having dinner Dad told us that he got an urgent call from office and we have to leave early in the morning. I was very much disappointed as we had planned for a week but had to leave in a day. I had started loving the place, it’s people, the ambience, desi food and above all my amazing confrontation with nature and its beautiful elements which are always going to stay in my unforgettable memoirs.

It was also time to keep aside the useless ego and confess the truth to Mamaji.
I wanted to tell him how much I loved his company, the surprises he planned for me and all the efforts made by him to make me become friends with nature.

When we were about to leave, it went in front of him, touched his feet and then hugged him with tears flowing down my eyes. I can hear the sobbing sound too, means he too was crying. He told me that he missed his son the most and he found a glimpse of him in me. I apologized to him for my attitude and rude behavior. I was feeling very guilty for bringing ego in between relationships especially when the other person considered you as his son.

From that day something in me changed and all credit goes to Mamaji who inspired me to always remain connected to nature, to become friends with it and respect and love all its elements.

Tale of Keshvati with Raven hair...

I am Keshvati from a village called Keshevghad..

I was born as  a normal child but as I grew older,I became the most beautiful girl of my village and the most extraordinary thing about me were my shiny dark strands which were prefect in every sense...:)

My brother CharanKumar was a worker in a chemical factory in the city. I always wanted to see the city life, its people and its culture, so I used to urge him to also take me along.

One fine day brother told me to get ready as we were going to visit the city. It was a special day for him as he was going to be awarded the best worker of the factory. So he also wanted me to accompany him.

I was overwhelmed with joy after listening to this. Quickly I teased the top portion of my hair to create a bump at the front and let my tresses fall on the sides to create a look something similar to this.

As the award function was in the evening he decided to take me to the mall as it was the most happening place of the city. He also wanted me to know how different brands existed under a single roof and you can get all household items from there..:)

Dove have organised "The most beautiful Hair of the City" contest in the mall and fortunately there was no restriction on the entry of the contest.
I was very eager to take part in it,so I asked brother to fill the registration form for me.
When my turn came I slowly went on the stage and was very happy to see that not only judges, dove officials but audience too were surprised to see the beauty of my locks.

I was crowned the "The most beautiful Hair of the City" and got 10k in cash.

It was the moment I was waiting for, a feeling of being at top of the world and to add to it there were calls coming for interview from different local newspapers. CharanKumar was also a proud brother. He thanked god for all the happiness that was coming to our doorstep.
Both of us decided to have a dinner in a 5 star hotel to celebrate our success after the award function.

It was evening and we have reached the factory on time for the function.
The Chief Guest was Mayor of the city and as usual he had some personal work so the  function was delayed by an hour.
In the meanwhile CharanKumar decided to show me the factory. There were lot of machines and toxic chemicals all around so he told me to take special care.

I was surprised to see huge containers filled with toxic material and machines working flawlessly to get the right amount of each chemical mixed together.
He showed me the hall where he worked. As we were inspecting the machines suddenly alarms started roaring everywhere. Till the time we could have known the cause of alarm, there was fire all around the room.

Toxic gases filled the room making it difficult to breathe and even see. CharanKumar soon lost consciousness and fell down. I cried for help but there was none to help us. The fire was closing in so without wasting any time I tried my best to drag him out of the room. In doing so I banged into a container and was about to fall into it but was saved my a security guard.

I thanked the guard for saving my life but instead of receiving the gratitude he ran away from there.
I was surprised by his behavior but than saving life of brother was the top most priority.

Somehow I took him out of the room but within moments I too became unconscious.
When I came to senses, I found myself lying on a hospital bed. The doctor sat alongside me and asked how all this happened ?
When I asked about my brother they told me that he was dead.
I was in deep pain and sorrow and slowly as I moved my hand to the head( I normally do this when I am perturbed ) , I was shocked. Quickly I went infront of the mirror to find what had happened to my hair and almost fell dead on the sight of seeing myself.

I was almost bold from back with only few patches of hair distributed randomly on my head.
I looked more like a witch from a horror movie.

Somehow I tried to recall what would have happened and could only remember that when I was about to fall in the container and was saved by the security guard, I felt something hot on back of my head, might be my hair got in contact with the virulent chemical kept in the container.

Doctor told that it could take years for my hair to grow and the treatment would atleast cost me 200k bucks..It was nearly impossible for me to manage such a big amount.

So I decided to go back to the village and get my treatment done from the babas there..
When I came back, people of the village asked me about my identity. I told them that I was their Keshvati and explained what all happened..
Some people consoled me but most of the villagers were jealous of my beauty from the time I was born, so they wanted me to suffer.
My house and land were taken away and I was made to live a life of beggar.
Trauma of my brother's death and unbearable agony made me a dead soul.
I started behaving abnormally and was soon declared mad.

Unfortunately plague crept in the village killing around 200 people.
Superstitious villagers thought that this was due to curse of some witch which was present in my body. Without giving any second thought they decided to tie me to the Banyan tree and burn me alive.

When Parvati who was my best friend came to know about this plan of inhumanity ,she took the courage to take me away from the village into the city, so that my life could be saved.
I had a small bag which I took with me when I was thrown out of my house.
It had my crown which I got from dove, my brother's photo and some clothes. Fortunately it also had a visiting card which read
Priya Sharma
Marketing Manager
Dove Mumbai
Mob: 9920846744

Parvati saw a small light of hope when she took that card and as there was no other option left she decided to call Priya.
After listening to what all had happened with me,Priya was in tears. She asked Parvati to have courage and promised to help me by all the possible means.

Soon I was admitted to a renowned hospital where my hair treatment was gonna be done.
Within 2 months doctors could see a miracle happen. Hair started to grow from all parts of my scalp. There was something extraordinary with me and it was proved yet again.
Within few weeks hair grew till my shoulder. I was super excited like a little kiddo and called everyone to my room. When all were there I shouted on top of my voice "and that was the end of my hair problems", as if I was relieved from tons of burden , soon tears started rolling down from my eyes. I hugged Priya tightly and thanked her for what all she has done.

Priya told me that she has done everything for the sake of humanity and still something was left to be taken care of. Though my hair had grown full length but they were very dry, thin and rough.
Lets try out our new product on your hair, she told me.
It is the Dove damage therapy which include an Intensive repair Shampoo and a Conditioner.

It has Serum and Fiber which will internally reconstruct hair and prevents split ends and breakage.
Within 2-3 months your hair will become smooth, shinny and beautiful.
The damage therapy worked like a miracle. It not only made my hair soft and smooth but also brought the original shine which I used to have in them.

"And that was the end of my hair problems",not only hair problem but all other problems too.
I was given the most amazing and life changing opportunity to work as the Dove model. I could see myself on the huge banners standing tall at all corners of the city.

Together with dove I also started two NGOs KESH KRANTI and Save Hair India.

The main motive behind Kesh Kranti was to make people aware about various hair problems, their remedies, preventive measures to be taken to avoid them in future , how to make hair strong and smooth and a healthy diet that would also keep their hairs healthy..

Under Save Hair India we pledged to help 10 hair burn victims every year, right from the surgery to all other medical expense will be taken care by us.

It was a new beginning..My life has just started..:)

Singoli, A place where I reconnected with my roots..

This time we were not going to any hill station or a national park or any pilgrimage place for our summer holidays. I was done with my 10th board exams and anxiously waiting for a trip of a life time. There was lot of excitement as few months back there was a foreign trip on cards. But this was not my chance as Mom and Dad unanimously decided to visit our relatives at Singoli the Birth place of my Nanaji.

Singoli is a small village which comes under Neemuch District in Madhya Pradesh.
I has a population of 20,000 and a literacy rate of 60%. It is the biggest producer of limestone in India.
We were going to stay with Nanaji's Brother Nathul Lasod who lived there with his wife for past 50 years. Their only son lived in Mumbai with his family and used to visit them twice in a year. They lived in a house which was more like a Kothi built about 70 years ago by Nanaji's Father Mr Ramlal Lasod .They also had a farm which was some 10,000 square feet and was the source of earning their lively hood.

I was 16 at that time and was at the peak of my adolescence.I was a party lover and enjoyed hanging out with my friends at discs, pubs or lounges. Going to a village and staying there seemed to be a nightmare for me.
I was really pissed off as I had no clue of how will I even sustain the ambiance of a village for even a single day.

It was decided that we will leave for Singoli on 22nd of March, a day after completion of my 10th exams.
All were busy with their packing ,specially me, as I wanted to take all the gadgets, gizmos and other stuff I had for making my survival possible, I was behaving in a manner as if I was going to be a contestant of Survivor India.

We started at 10 in the morning and reached there by 6 in the eve..I thoroughly enjoyed driving the Car at a speed of 130-150 on the high way as it seemed to be the last exciting thing left on the world to me.
When we entered the village everything looked messy and obsolete to me. The lanes were narrow, houses looked like they were built in 18th century and people had no sense of fashion and hygiene..

Finally after 1 hour of crazy horn blowing , frustration and agitation we finally reached the so called Kothi of Mr Nathulal Lasod.

They were waiting for us anxiously.

Unfortunately Mr Nathulal Lasod also came at the same time inviting us for dinner.
He had listened to what all I said, but very calmly he came near me and politely said, " I know you are a kid of city and you are not habitual of living in such ambiance , but believe me you will have the time of your life ,if you follow my words for this complete week.

I was so embarrassed that I didn't knew what to say and agreed to whatever he said.
After having dinner, as everyone was very tired, especially me , we decided to sleep.

****I used to call Mr Nathulal ji, Chote Nanaji as he was younger brother of  Nanaji. So from now onward I would be referring to him as Chote Nanaji only.****

As we were going to our rooms Chote Nanaji told me to that we had to go somewhere at 5 in the morning as he had some surprises planned for me and told not to worry as he will wake me up in time.
OMG 5 in the morning , I don't remember if I did woke up anytime before 7 in my life.
Anyways I went to bed at 10 and waited for the next morning to know about the surprises.

"Ankit wake up beta, Chote Nanaji is calling you", said Mom.
Why these people get up so early, i felt very irritated as I was about to hug Irina Shayk at the Crane Beach of Barbados...:P

I asked him where were we going and now he should reveal the surprise, but he told me to follow him and wait for the right time.
When we came across a farm he told me that it was there's and they grew different vegetables like ladyfinger, Cucumbers, green onions and also pulses and cereals.
It was before dawn and the crops appeared dancing with the cool breeze.
The panorama was beautiful and so natural.
We have to get to the top of that hill which appears at the other side of this farm, affirmed he.

I was gasping for air as the path to the top was not easy and it took all my stamina to even stand still.
Come on my boy we have almost made it, exclaimed he. I could see a 60 year old standing at the top and motivating a 16 year young champ to take those remaining steps.
That day it was very much clear , why my Nani used to say that people in villages have tremendous stamina and that it was all because they loved nature and were very close to it in all aspects. They are very well connected with their roots.

When I reached top I was completely tired and out of my senses, but suddenly a gust of cool breeze touched my face, blowing my hair. What I saw next was phenomenal, tiny extravagant shades of orange and pink appeared in the sky. Shortly after a fiery ball enhancement started to make it's way beyond the mountain ranges at a distance. Sky was filled with colours of unexplainable magnificence that had no known name. I felt like I am on top of the world with nature charming me with all it's elements.

Chote Nanaji asked me how was I feeling like, but my ego came in middle and I deceived him by saying that it was okay. Next we started with Yoga. He told me about different asanas and exercises which kept him fit and healthy and I followed him.

The place I choose had the water stream just flowing at a hand's distance. Man I had the best defecate of my life .Lolzz i am describing this also but can't help..:P
After I was done we headed towards our home as Garam Garam breakfast was waiting for us.

After we were done with filling the hungry stomach, I was feeling desperately to take a shower as my complete body was stinging and sweating.
But there was another plan which Chote Nanaji had in queue.
We will go to a nearby river side which is just 10km away from here and don’t worry this time we will go on my bike, he chuckled.
We were accompanied my father also.

When we reached the spot there was no crowd there. C Nanaji told us that this place was rarely known to the people. In no time he climbed up a rock which was 20 feet high and made a dive in the water.

Wow, that’s super cool I thought and tried myself too. I was feeling a bit nervous as 20 feet was not a small height, but then I made my move and went straight into the water. I could see small fishes passing by my ear, it was a breath taking moment for me, so natural and wonderful.

After doing different somersaults and relaxing in the free flowing water for some 2 hours we finally headed back home.
It was already 12 and lunch was at our disposition.
Dal Batti with a lot of pure ghee glued me to it. I loved having a lot of ghee in my food and this time I got exactly the same. I ate like a vociferous hungry boy.
We generally used to eat with spoons but this time we used only hands, and I bet food tastes more delicious when we use hands rather than spoons or knifes.

Now it was time to sleep. Though my complete body was aching ,it was nothing in comparison to the marvellous confrontation with the natural beauty that I had today.
I know there was more in store for me, so I wanted to take a sound 2 hours sleep to refresh myself and be ready for them.

Clock struck 5 and it was time to wake up. So what’s next, I enquired.
I am going to Shyamlal’s shop as I have to buy some household goods, are u coming with me, asked C Nanaji.
Sure I said without any delay. There was a big chaat centre near to his shop where farmers and other working people used to sit and chit chat.
People used to discuss there personal as well busniess problems.
I was amazed so see the feeling of brotherhood they shared and the determination to solve others problem whether it was big or small.

After some time on the road side I saw few children playing Gilli-Danda.

I kept watching them for some 15 mins and couldn't stop from asking them to include me also.
I had played it when I was 5, but after that I didn’t had a chance to try my hand on such traditional Indian sports. I was lucky after 11 years and didn’t want to miss a single min of it. In no time 1 hour passed, but now we had to go back home as dinner was about to be served.

This time it was Puran Puri that made me go crazy. Puran puri is a delicious sweetmeat which is made of jiggery and this too is eaten using lot of ghee.

I eat till my stomach was about to explode. After dinner was over we went for a short walk. It was dark everywhere and also the roads were vacant as people usually sleep around 9 there.

Chote Nanaji took us to a temple which was some 200 years old and had an 8 feet big idol of Lord Shiva. It was a small temple but had a beautiful artwork.
After taking the blessings he headed back to home.

We sat together in the dining room for having general talks, like how was life going on, what’s new at our part and blah blah.....
Topic of discussion was now moved to the recent movies which were released and reviews about them. I recently saw Raj which was a horror movie. When I finished describing it, Naniji started narrating different incidents of ghosts and spirits she knew. It was really fun listening to those incidents, but what I enjoyed the most was her expressions and tone modulation while narrating an incident.
After some time everyone started feeling sleepy, so we went to our respective rooms to have a good night sleep.

Next day was scheduled for FARMVILLE, well not the Farmville which we play on FB but working on an actual farm.

It was harvest time so we had to manually cut the rice crop using the Sickle.
Sickle is a hand held agricultural tool which has a curved blade. I had seen in movies that sickle was mainly used to kill a person, this time though it was put to right use by me.

After we were done with harvesting it was time to head back to home as I was feeling damn hungry and wanted to take Lunch as soon as possible.
This time it was Bhindi ,Curi and Pullav, a perfect combination for lunch ,as they were all my favourite.

After Lunch Dad told us that he got an urgent call from office and we have to leave in an hour or so. I was very much disappointed as we had planned for a week but had to leave in just 2 days. I had started loving the place, it’s people, the ambience , desi food and above all my amazing confrontation with nature and its beautiful elements which are always going to stay in my unforgettable memoirs.

It was also time to keep aside the useless ego and confess the truth to Chote Nanaji.
I wanted to tell him how much I loved his company, the surprises he planned for me and all the efforts made by him to make me reconnect with our Indian traditions and mainly to the supreme and kind nature.

When we were about to leave, it went in front of him, touched his feet and than hugged him with tears flowing down my eyes. I can hear the sobbing sound too, means he too was crying. He told me that he missed his son the most and he found a glimpse of him in me. I apologized to him for my attitude and rude behavior. I was feeling very guilty for bringing ego in between relationships specially when the other person considered you as his son.

Chote Nanaji had also taught me a lesson ,which otherwise comes after paying a heavy price. i.e. to always remain connected to roots in all the cases either it is about your health or relationships.

Well it was time to leave but I was feeling more lonely and sad than him. I was cursing his son for leaving parents like them alone ,who cared for him more than themselves and living with someone whom he had meet just few years back.

Parents are given a place above God. They refrain themselves from the joy of many worldly pleasures only to make them available for you. They suffer only to see you grow happy and sound. But when u get married and have a new family , never forget that family from where you are evolved...your loving parents..
They deserve lots of love , respect and care from you ,when they grow old.
Never do the crime to leave them alone, suffering.. Give them all u have..:)

Love doesn't follow any caste or religion, it just follow 2 hearts

This entry is part of BlogAdda contests in association with Zapstore

Love is the eternal truth of life . You have to go all the way to find it.
Adventure is accompanied with excitement and passion.
When both of them combine Miracles happen.

So lets start with the story which revolves around this 3 words.

Gyan and Saraswati were new to Indore.
They had got admission to Institute of Engineering and Technology and were eagerly waiting for their semesters to start.

Though they belonged to the same village of Uttar Pradesh, they hardly knew each other.
Gyan was an adventure lover guy. Trekking , Swimming and exploring new destinations were his hobbies. His dream was to work for Discovery Channel though had to study engineering because of his family compulsion.

Saraswati was a nature lover and had a passion to capture the amazing creations of nature.
She had a childhood dream of becoming a  Photographer but somehow landed into engineering field.
Although she was from a village she looked no less than a princess.
Those beautiful eyes with a touch of kajal, long silky hairs and a pair of pink ballets were enough for the Indian beauty to turn heads.

On the first day of the college itself they dashed their vehicles into one another and from that day onward , developed animosity towards each other.

College has this tradition of taking the freshers to an outing ,in the first week of college so that they can easily mingle with each other.
This time the place was decided as Tincha Fall.
As it was rainy season so a waterfall surrounded by natural beauty was the best place to visit.

Gyan was happy as he got an opportunity of trekking in the first week of college itself and Saraswati too was eager to test her photography skills with her Fuji AX300 Camera,
a pocket camera with all the desired features.

Tincha fall is a beautiful waterfall which falls from a height of 40 feet. It has a village on one side and forest on another. To reach the pond of water where the fall water gets accumulated, one has to trek 40 feet downwards.

Everyone who went down to the pond was warned not to go in deep water and to remain with the group.

A group of 15 people including Gyan and Saraswati were busy enjoying themselves at the pond.

There were few cave like structures were the water was flowing from the pond.
Gyan was eager to find what lied inside the caves as the structure was looking very appealing to him. Same was the case with Saraswati as she also wanted to have closer shots of the beautiful natural constructs.

Saraswati some how got to a rock close to the cave from where she could take some amazing snaps. As she was clicking pics , a snake suddenly showed up from the water and in fear of it she lost her balance and fell into the flowing water which was heading towards the cave.

She become unconscious because of been hit by a stone on head and soon fainted .
Gyan, who was not far away, noticed her flowing inside the cave with the water. He tried to get hold of her hand but himself lost balance and fell in to the water.

All were told to leave the pond as it was time to go back.
When headcount was taken Gyan and Saraswati were the only one missing. There was a sudden turmoil in the group. Everyone was frightened to think of what could have happened to both of them.

Meanwhile Gyan and Saraswati were carried by the water flow to a lake in the forest ,as the water from the cave flowed into the lake.

Gyan gained consciousness but found Saraswati lying in the water ,still unconscious.
She was bleeding from the head. He collected some heap of leaves and made her lay on it.
Then he took out his Samsung Wave which was to his surprise was still working and opened the navigation map apps to find out their location. They were some 500 m from the fall in the middle of the forest. He was unable to call anyone as there were no signals available.

It was already 7 pm with sun waving goodbye  and night making it's way through.
The horizon had also become dark grey with darkness widening its presence all around.
He started collecting some wood logs to produce fire, in meanwhile Saraswati also got to her senses. She was suffering from pain as she had bruises in her head and also she had thorns pricked in her arms and feet.

Gyan took his hanky and tied it on her head so that the swelling didn't increased further.
"You look weak", Inquired her. "Well don't worry about me , I will be fine.
It's mild fever which will go away by itself", assured Gyan.
You are been hit badly in your head. It's swollen up like a pumpkin and there are lots of thorns                    also which are pricked in your body.
So he advised her to lay still while he removed the thorns from her arms. She was feeling uncomfortable as he hold her arm ,but than she could hardly move so had no other option.
He removed all the thorns from her hand and made his way to her feet. The pink ballets were
worn away and blood came out from her soles. He gently took the ballets out, placed her feet  on his lap and carefully took the thorns out. Then he rubbed her feet softly so that she could relax and
it helped her alleviate the pain.

Though both remained silent their eyes did all the talking. He was not the guy she thought on their first meet. Not only he was caring but he was brave too. She could feel her heart beat running a marathon when he touched her again.
This time he got closer to her lips, at first she hesitated but than she closed her eyes. It was a signal for him to go on , gently they locked their lips which slowly turned into a passionate kiss.

Love finally found it's way into their hearts.

Both of them were frightened as they could hear the roaring of animals, air flowing sayeee........
sayeee......:P  . Suddenly Gyan's cell beeped , how come it was still working , a miracle indeed  . It was a msg from one of his friend asking about his whereabouts.
He quickly called him up and told him where they are stuck up, thanks to the navigation map apps on this Samsung Wave. Within 2 hours they were rescued from the forest.

Now they use to eat, study and roam together in the college. They become one of the popular couple of the college. Everyone was very excited to listen to ,what all happened in the forest which transformed hate at first sight into forever love.

On the other hand when the news of this incident and their infant love reached their village , there was a fit of rage in both families. Gyan was a Brahmin while Saraswati was a Rajput , as they belonged to different caste, falling in love with each other was the biggest crime created by them as per their families. People of village were very narrow minded and disapproved of loving someone from a different caste.

Both of them were immediately called to the village so that Panchayat can decide what should be done and if necessary what punishment should be given to both of them.
Saraswati was very scared when she came to know that everyone in her village had come to know about her and Gyan relationship and that her brothers will kill them for what they have done. Gyan told her to keep faith in god and their love and promised that he would be with her till his last breath.

Mr Das was the Sarpanch of the village. Though he had studied only till 10th, his studies didn't became an obstacle in his progress and decision making abilities. He was a broad minded person and was aware of thinking of today's youth.

It was 6pm and Panchayat was ready to decide the fate of the love birds. On having discussion for 1 hour , finally Sarpanch came out with Panchayat decision.
Love is supreme. It has no boundaries or limits.
It doesn't follow any caste or religion but only the hearts of pious souls.

Gyan and Saraswati have the right to marry each other according to Indian constitution and no one should try to threaten them against it. It is Panchayat's decision.

There was a pin drop silence among the villagers. No one had expected Sarpanch to come up with such a decision which was against their customs and traditions.

Suddenly Saraswati's brothers took out their swords, chisels and ran towards Gyan who was standing alone near the tree. He was unaware of what was coming till he heard the scream of Saraswati , who came in middle of the sword and his body.Blood was pouring out from her body like water from a tap.

Next blow had Gyan on his knees with the chisel deeply rooted in this stomach.
Both of them laid there bathing in blood, gasping for air and fighting for their love..
They had their hands in each other , still trying to get close enough to feel their love for the last time , than came the second blow and it looked like game over.

Sarpanch came running towards both of them. He could feel their pulses , so without wasting a single second he called the City's hospital helpline no which was located in Kanpur, fortunately the only hospital having a helicopter ambulance also. Kanpur was on a distance of 10 km from the village, so in no time the helicopter was there and police also came at the same time.

Saraswati brother's were arrested and a report was also charged against both of their families.

It is a miracle indeed that both of them survived the blows and are happily married for 4 years.
Both of them now work for an NGO Shakti Vahini who works to prevent honor killings and make people understand the Indian constitution, rights and duties of an Indian citizen and most importantly the essence of LOVE.
