Junior High school students were studying the seven wonders of the world.
At the end of the lesson, the students were asked to list down the what according to them are the
seven wonders of the world.
Though there were many choice made, those which received the most votes were
1. Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Great wall of China
5. Statue of Liberty
6. Eiffel Tower
7. Leaning tower of Pisa
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet gal, hadn't turned her paper.
So she asked the gal if she was facing some trouble with her list.
The gal quietly replied ," Yes a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because they were so many.
The teacher said, "Well , tell us what you have , may be we can help.
The gal hesitated and said according to me following are the Seven wonders of the world.
1. to touch..
2. to feel..
3. to see..
4. to hear..
5. to taste..
6. to laugh..
7. and to love..
There was a pin drop silence in the room.
This story gives us a simple message that the things we overlook as simple and ordinary are often
the most beautiful and wonderful. We don't have to travel to anywhere to experience them.
So enjoy your gifts..:)
