Love doesn't follow any caste or religion, it just follow 2 hearts

This entry is part of BlogAdda contests in association with Zapstore

Love is the eternal truth of life . You have to go all the way to find it.
Adventure is accompanied with excitement and passion.
When both of them combine Miracles happen.

So lets start with the story which revolves around this 3 words.

Gyan and Saraswati were new to Indore.
They had got admission to Institute of Engineering and Technology and were eagerly waiting for their semesters to start.

Though they belonged to the same village of Uttar Pradesh, they hardly knew each other.
Gyan was an adventure lover guy. Trekking , Swimming and exploring new destinations were his hobbies. His dream was to work for Discovery Channel though had to study engineering because of his family compulsion.

Saraswati was a nature lover and had a passion to capture the amazing creations of nature.
She had a childhood dream of becoming a  Photographer but somehow landed into engineering field.
Although she was from a village she looked no less than a princess.
Those beautiful eyes with a touch of kajal, long silky hairs and a pair of pink ballets were enough for the Indian beauty to turn heads.

On the first day of the college itself they dashed their vehicles into one another and from that day onward , developed animosity towards each other.

College has this tradition of taking the freshers to an outing ,in the first week of college so that they can easily mingle with each other.
This time the place was decided as Tincha Fall.
As it was rainy season so a waterfall surrounded by natural beauty was the best place to visit.

Gyan was happy as he got an opportunity of trekking in the first week of college itself and Saraswati too was eager to test her photography skills with her Fuji AX300 Camera,
a pocket camera with all the desired features.

Tincha fall is a beautiful waterfall which falls from a height of 40 feet. It has a village on one side and forest on another. To reach the pond of water where the fall water gets accumulated, one has to trek 40 feet downwards.

Everyone who went down to the pond was warned not to go in deep water and to remain with the group.

A group of 15 people including Gyan and Saraswati were busy enjoying themselves at the pond.

There were few cave like structures were the water was flowing from the pond.
Gyan was eager to find what lied inside the caves as the structure was looking very appealing to him. Same was the case with Saraswati as she also wanted to have closer shots of the beautiful natural constructs.

Saraswati some how got to a rock close to the cave from where she could take some amazing snaps. As she was clicking pics , a snake suddenly showed up from the water and in fear of it she lost her balance and fell into the flowing water which was heading towards the cave.

She become unconscious because of been hit by a stone on head and soon fainted .
Gyan, who was not far away, noticed her flowing inside the cave with the water. He tried to get hold of her hand but himself lost balance and fell in to the water.

All were told to leave the pond as it was time to go back.
When headcount was taken Gyan and Saraswati were the only one missing. There was a sudden turmoil in the group. Everyone was frightened to think of what could have happened to both of them.

Meanwhile Gyan and Saraswati were carried by the water flow to a lake in the forest ,as the water from the cave flowed into the lake.

Gyan gained consciousness but found Saraswati lying in the water ,still unconscious.
She was bleeding from the head. He collected some heap of leaves and made her lay on it.
Then he took out his Samsung Wave which was to his surprise was still working and opened the navigation map apps to find out their location. They were some 500 m from the fall in the middle of the forest. He was unable to call anyone as there were no signals available.

It was already 7 pm with sun waving goodbye  and night making it's way through.
The horizon had also become dark grey with darkness widening its presence all around.
He started collecting some wood logs to produce fire, in meanwhile Saraswati also got to her senses. She was suffering from pain as she had bruises in her head and also she had thorns pricked in her arms and feet.

Gyan took his hanky and tied it on her head so that the swelling didn't increased further.
"You look weak", Inquired her. "Well don't worry about me , I will be fine.
It's mild fever which will go away by itself", assured Gyan.
You are been hit badly in your head. It's swollen up like a pumpkin and there are lots of thorns                    also which are pricked in your body.
So he advised her to lay still while he removed the thorns from her arms. She was feeling uncomfortable as he hold her arm ,but than she could hardly move so had no other option.
He removed all the thorns from her hand and made his way to her feet. The pink ballets were
worn away and blood came out from her soles. He gently took the ballets out, placed her feet  on his lap and carefully took the thorns out. Then he rubbed her feet softly so that she could relax and
it helped her alleviate the pain.

Though both remained silent their eyes did all the talking. He was not the guy she thought on their first meet. Not only he was caring but he was brave too. She could feel her heart beat running a marathon when he touched her again.
This time he got closer to her lips, at first she hesitated but than she closed her eyes. It was a signal for him to go on , gently they locked their lips which slowly turned into a passionate kiss.

Love finally found it's way into their hearts.

Both of them were frightened as they could hear the roaring of animals, air flowing sayeee........
sayeee......:P  . Suddenly Gyan's cell beeped , how come it was still working , a miracle indeed  . It was a msg from one of his friend asking about his whereabouts.
He quickly called him up and told him where they are stuck up, thanks to the navigation map apps on this Samsung Wave. Within 2 hours they were rescued from the forest.

Now they use to eat, study and roam together in the college. They become one of the popular couple of the college. Everyone was very excited to listen to ,what all happened in the forest which transformed hate at first sight into forever love.

On the other hand when the news of this incident and their infant love reached their village , there was a fit of rage in both families. Gyan was a Brahmin while Saraswati was a Rajput , as they belonged to different caste, falling in love with each other was the biggest crime created by them as per their families. People of village were very narrow minded and disapproved of loving someone from a different caste.

Both of them were immediately called to the village so that Panchayat can decide what should be done and if necessary what punishment should be given to both of them.
Saraswati was very scared when she came to know that everyone in her village had come to know about her and Gyan relationship and that her brothers will kill them for what they have done. Gyan told her to keep faith in god and their love and promised that he would be with her till his last breath.

Mr Das was the Sarpanch of the village. Though he had studied only till 10th, his studies didn't became an obstacle in his progress and decision making abilities. He was a broad minded person and was aware of thinking of today's youth.

It was 6pm and Panchayat was ready to decide the fate of the love birds. On having discussion for 1 hour , finally Sarpanch came out with Panchayat decision.
Love is supreme. It has no boundaries or limits.
It doesn't follow any caste or religion but only the hearts of pious souls.

Gyan and Saraswati have the right to marry each other according to Indian constitution and no one should try to threaten them against it. It is Panchayat's decision.

There was a pin drop silence among the villagers. No one had expected Sarpanch to come up with such a decision which was against their customs and traditions.

Suddenly Saraswati's brothers took out their swords, chisels and ran towards Gyan who was standing alone near the tree. He was unaware of what was coming till he heard the scream of Saraswati , who came in middle of the sword and his body.Blood was pouring out from her body like water from a tap.

Next blow had Gyan on his knees with the chisel deeply rooted in this stomach.
Both of them laid there bathing in blood, gasping for air and fighting for their love..
They had their hands in each other , still trying to get close enough to feel their love for the last time , than came the second blow and it looked like game over.

Sarpanch came running towards both of them. He could feel their pulses , so without wasting a single second he called the City's hospital helpline no which was located in Kanpur, fortunately the only hospital having a helicopter ambulance also. Kanpur was on a distance of 10 km from the village, so in no time the helicopter was there and police also came at the same time.

Saraswati brother's were arrested and a report was also charged against both of their families.

It is a miracle indeed that both of them survived the blows and are happily married for 4 years.
Both of them now work for an NGO Shakti Vahini who works to prevent honor killings and make people understand the Indian constitution, rights and duties of an Indian citizen and most importantly the essence of LOVE.

Every Success story is also a story of great Failure

Failure is the highway to success. Tom Watson Sr. said, If you want to succeed,
double your failure rate.
If you study history, you will find that all stories of success are also stories of great failures.
But people don't see the failures.

They only see one side of the picture and they say that person got lucky
"He must have been at the right place at the right time".

Let me share life history of some people with you.

This was a man who failed in business at the age of 21 ; was defeated in a
legislative race at age 22; failed again in business at age 24; overcame the
death of his sweetheart at age 26; had a nervous breakdown at age 27;
 lost a congressional race at age 34; lost a senatorial race at age 45;
 failed in an effort to become vice-president at age 47;
lost a senatorial race at age 49; and was elected president of the United States at age 52.
This man was Abraham Lincoln.
Would you call him a failure? He could have quit.
But to Lincoln, defeat was a detour and not a dead end.

In 1913, Lee De Forest, inventor of the triodes tube, was charged by the district attorney
for using fraudulent means to mislead the public into buying stocks of
his company by claiming that he could transmit the human voice across the Atlantic.
He was publicly humiliated.
Can you imagine where we would be without his invention?

A New York Times editorial on December 10, 1903, questioned the wisdom of the
Wright Brothers who were trying to invent a machine, heavier than air, that would fly.
One week later, at Kitty Hawk, the Wright Brothers took their famous flight.

Colonel Sanders, at age 65, with a beat-up car and a $100 check from Social
Security, realized he had to do something. He remembered his mothers recipe and
went out selling. How many doors did he have to knock on before he got his first order?
It is estimated that he had knocked on more than a thousand doors before he got his first order.

How many of us quit after three tries, five tries, ten tries, and then we
say we tried as hard as we could.

As a young cartoonist, Walt Disney faced many rejections from newspaper editors,
who said he had no talent.
One day a minister at a church hired him to draw some cartoons.
Disney was working out of a small mouse infested shed near the church. After seeing a small mouse, he was inspired. That was the start of Mickey Mouse.

Successful people don't do great things, they only do small things in a
great way.

One day a partially deaf four year old kid came home with a note in his pocket
from his teacher,Your Tommy is too stupid to learn, get him out of the school.
His mother read the note and answered, My Tommy is not stupid to learn, I will
teach him myself. And that Tommy grew up to be the great Thomas Edison.
Thomas Edison had only three months of formal schooling and he was partially deaf.

Henry Ford forgot to put the reverse gear in the first car he made.
Do you consider these people failures? They succeeded in spite of problems, not
in the absence of them.
But to the outside world, it appears as though they just got lucky.

All success stories are stories of great failures. The only difference is that
every time they failed, they bounced back. This is called failing forward, rather than backward.
You learn and move forward. Learn from your failure and keep moving.

The Seven Wonders of the World

Junior High school students were studying the seven wonders of the world.
At the end of the lesson, the students were asked to list down the what according to them are the
seven wonders of the world.
Though there were many choice made, those which received the most votes were

   1. Great Pyramids

2. Taj Mahal

3. Grand Canyon

4. Great wall of China

5. Statue of Liberty

6. Eiffel Tower

7. Leaning tower of Pisa

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet gal, hadn't turned her paper.
So she asked the gal if she was facing some trouble with her list.
The gal quietly replied ," Yes a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind  because they were so many.
The teacher said, "Well , tell us what you have , may be we can help.

The gal hesitated and said according to me following are the Seven wonders of the world.

1. to touch..
2. to feel..
3. to see..
4. to hear..
5. to taste..
6. to laugh..
7. and to love..

There was a pin drop silence in the room.

This story gives us a simple message that the things we overlook as simple and ordinary are often
the most beautiful and wonderful. We don't have to travel to anywhere to experience them.
So enjoy your gifts..:)

Vaishno devi trip, Amritsar cops, accident and KFC meal.... Experience I would never forget

The work was less in office as Christmas had just passed and new year was going to come.
Everyone was getting bored so we decided to share some of our past experiences which still caused goose bumps to us.

Abhijeet started with his hostel experience of how they used to go for long drives on their bikes at 3 in the morning to eat at a famous chat centre and roam on the streets of Jaipur.
One day they were chased by police and it was a thrilling escape for them, same as in Dhoom movie.

Deepti narrated the incident of how she saved her sister and herself from the fire which started from their Rajai and extended to the whole room.

Now it was my turn. I was trying to recollect those incidences which had left their mark on my conscious as well as subconscious mind and suddenly one incident came at the top of the list.
It was one of those experiences where my sharp mind and fiery tongue got me out of a sticky situation.

Everyone in the family was busy thinking about the destination we should be visiting in this summer vacations. Some said south India, few came up with suggestion of Rajasthan brahman, at last Nanaji came up with idea of Vaishno Devi trip which was accepted unanimously.

We decided to go by our own vehicle because the main fun of these trips lies in enjoying the journey together by singing, dancing and doing other activities. Amritsar was where we were going to halt as one of Daddy’s friend lived there.

We started on 15th from Indore and reached Amritsar on 16th.  We got a warm welcome from Dad’s friend and his family. They were very vivacious and amiable people. We thoroughly enjoyed their company on our visit to places like golden temple and Jaliawala Bagh.

We planned to leave for Jammu on 18th in the morning. There was a tradition in our family to give some gift to the family members of the house where we stayed. Dad’s Friend and his family was a big fan of KFC. So I was told by Dad to get a meal packed from the nearby KFC outlet

I told our driver to get me to the nearest KFC present in the town. We had travelled for an hour but luck was not in our favour as we couldn’t find a single KFC outlet. Suddenly our Innova came to a halt. As I was totally immersed in listening to music on my iphone ,I had no idea of what had happened. I was awed by the set of events that happened thereafter, within few minutes of time span.

A couple, Sardarji and his wife came towards our Innova and pulled me out.
My Driver ran into the nearby park leaving me alone.
There was a police station nearby from where I could see two 6 feet tall muscular Sikh cops approaching us.
Sardar’s wife started conversing with the cops in Punjabi and after 5 minutes of conversation one of the cop came to me and TADAK……………….was the sounded that resonated.

Cop demanded 5000 bucks to be paid to the couple; otherwise they would seize my vehicle and put me behind the bars.
I appeased myself, controlled my anger and tried to explain them that it was not my fault and he should listen to the whole story.
Cop rebuked me and threatened to put behind the bars.

I was shocked, humiliated and at the same time in no men’s land as I didn’t knew what to do next.
It was a straightforward plot against me as I could see nothing had happened to Sardarji and his wife and also to their bike.
Suddenly an idea stuck my mind. I knew that Jaswant Singh was the MLA from Amritsar, so why not call him for help.
I dialled a no, the name which was displayed was Jaswant Uncle, my father’s friend…:P
Coincidently his name was same as that of Mr MLA from Amritsar.

Me:  Sasriyakal Jaswant Uncle, Ankit here
Uncle:  haan putarrr tell me what happened?
Me:  Actually uncleji I just left from your home an hour ago as I had some work to finish.
We were moving swiftly and safely but suddenly a couple on bike stopped infront of us and
started accusing us of hitting and damaging their bike and also causing bruises to them.
There is also a police station nearby whose cops after listening to the lady slapped me hard
without actually knowing my side of story.

Jaswant Singh was among the league of wise men present on this earth. He understood the matter quickly and told me to handover my cell to one of the cops present there. I did the same.
After 10 minutes of conversation I could hear only 2 words continuously pouring out of the cop’s mouth SORRY SIRJI… SORRY SIRJI…
“I know I have done a mistake and I promise I won’t repeat it again”, reassured the cop.

He then handed the cell back to me with a sorry and please forgive me gesture.
Me: Thanks Uncleji, will come home in 1 hour.
Saying this I cut the call as I had matters left to settle with Sardarji and his wife.
I told the cop to check Sardarji for alcohol as I got a foul smell from his mouth, when he was shouting and accusing me on top of his voice.
Cop verified for the same and found Sardarji guilty.

“So sardarji should we put you up in lockup for drinking alcohol while driving bike”, I enquired.
Sardarji and his wife went on their knees and with joint hands pleaded for forgiveness.
Ok I can give you a chance to compensate for what you have done.
If you can get me the best meal from KFC in half an hour, I will let you leave untouched, else you know the consequences. Don’t try to act clever and disappear as the cops has made a note of your bike no.
At once they picked up their bike and flew away with great speed.

Now the driver had also returned as he was watching everything happen from a nearby place, that he was hiding at.
I scolded driver for being so irresponsible and coward when he knew that it was not his mistake.
The cops took us inside the police station and ordered for some snacks till the time couple came up with our meal.
Within 45 minutes the couple was infront of us, with the KFC meal in their hand.

The inspector rebuked them for what they did and gave a warning that, if next time they were found
doing such stuff, they would be put behind the bars.
I was really very happy as my sharp mind and fiery tongue not only got me out of the trouble but also helped me in getting a delicious KFC meal for free and saving lots of my precious time which would have been otherwise wasted in searching for a KFC outlet.

So that was my story.
Everyone in my team appreciated me for my shrewdness, specially my Project Leader who in a humorous manner, advised me to show some part of it in the Project also….:D

This post is for the Indiblogger KFC fiery grilled contest "Set You On Fire".

Treasure with 120 pearls, found a way to spend them

There is a very famous saying that time and tide waits for none...Once the time flies away it never comes back.

As a result ,many times we regret on not having enough time to achieve our goals, fulfill those most important desires and utilize the opportunities to full extent.
It is a common thing today that most of our time is devoted to our duties and we find nearly no time for relaxation, self improvement or even our family.

According to a survey conducted on 1000 Indians, they were asked few questions and they had to answer in yes or no

  yes                                no

I need more time , I tend to cut back on my sleep
 185                                 24

I feel stressed as I have less time in a day
 206                                 35

I worry that I spent less time with my family and friends
 255                                  28

I feel trapped in daily routine
 320                                  10

I get no time for my passion, my hobbies
 213                                  30

So according to the survey , today people are suffering from time crunch.
Everyone craves for that extra chunk of hours.

Sometimes siting beside the window ,with a cup of coffee in our hand we often contemplate on the the fact that "24 hours are not enough", we want more time...a couple of hours more probably was what we wished for, as it would fill the time crunch.

So listening to our pious and honest thoughts, the goddess of time Surfexcelia fulfilled our wish and gave us 2 extra hours in a day.

                                              Goddess Surfexcelia

So now that we have 2 extra hours lets decide on how to utilize it to the fullest.
Here comes the list of all priorities where we can devote the time
1.Relationships
2.Health
3.Career
4.Hobbies or Passions
5.Spirituality

The 120 minutes are like the pearls of a treasure where each one of them is very precious and can help you build fortunes.

How to utilize them.

Protesting against the social crimes on individual level would do no betterment of society as it requires a large scale revolution as led by Anna Hazare.
If I think about the betterment of human kind on a larger picture , setting up an NGO or working for a cause will take atleast2 years.
I can't change the system or fill up its lope holes in so less span of time.

So the next thing that came to my mind is what is so important to me for which I can devote these beautiful 120 pearls.

I started dreaming...........Here are the thoughts that came pouring in....

I am very passionate about dance so lets join a dance class and sink in the immense pleasure of rock and rolling.

Or why not sit at the seashore and watch the tides coming by , water touching my body gently, wow what a wonderful feeling.

Reading about the biggies of this era fascinates me so why not pick up biographies of legends like Steve Jobs and get to know how the miracle happened.

Once those fingers strike the guitar and words starts pouring out to meet the rhythm nothing gives more pleasure than the music produced which flows like a river.

When we are in trouble we say "hey bhagwan", but what about the remaining time, do we thank god for all this spectacular things he has given to us , rarely I suppose.
So I would like to show my gratitude to almighty by devoting my time for him.

I have thought about my pleasures, hobbies , almighty but what about my mind, my body which keeps me active and ahead all the time.
Should I join a gym or should I  immerse into the world of spirituality and  meditation to get that refreshing peace of mind.

Well pondering  for some half an hour I have finally got the most efficient , lovely and heart touching way of utilizing those 120 pearls.

I would make special thanks giving collage to those very special people in my life which deserves every pearl of this treasure. The collage will be having snaps of the memories which we shared together accompanied by a sweet note or a short poem.

In today's life  we are miser in showing gestures of gratitude when we receive a helping hand from someone.
We are so busy with our life ,work, schedule that we even forget to make our near and dear ones realize how important they are to us and that we will be always there for them.
Bonding dwindle, gaps becomes wider and even relationships come at the verge of ending because of our
 "I don't care attitude".

So I would devote every pearl of the treasure to make my bonding robust.

Hera are those special people

My Parents-
When I was a in school I used to make greetings for my parents on their b'day and anniversary.
I used to arrange a party and even cook for them.
Now that I am in Mumbai for my job, we only talk on cell that also for half and hour.
So I would make a special collage to return .01% part of all love and care they have given to me.
Somewhat similar to this, but with snaps of lovely memories.

                                        Photoshop creation(1)

Best Friends

They are my secrets warehouse..my gal next door finders..
my 2am friend...they are my best pals..
But many times I have failed to tell them how much they mean to me , either because of lack of time or lack of words.
With my special collage I would like to fill in for what I had lacked that time.

                                     Photoshop creation(2)

Colleagues
We come across sincere , well wisher, helping , bully, asshole, backstabber and many more types of colleagues . But there are those who are more than a colleague to us.
So a special collage for those special ones at work.

Girlfriend
Well Inko to aap phele se kafi kuch de chuke hote ho...:P
But for all love, support, and yeah those special unforgettable moments I would more than happily make a collage for her also which I do usually..:)

                                     Photoshop creation(3)

Teachers
For all support, motivation , advice, suggestions and yeah all that Khari Khoti which was actually meant for my betterment I would love to show my respect to them through a very special collage.

                                     Photoshop creation(4)

Well Wishers
Finally for all my well wishers and fans..if a single also exists at all...:P
I would write a thanks giving note to them and keep it with me till I find one cheering around loud..
Ankit.....Ankit.....:P:P:P..
